Name and age: Pauline Vendela Pettersen (17)
Born and live in: Oslo, Norway.
When and why did you decide to become a model? I have always been inspired by the fashion industry and as I got older my passion for fashion got bigger. I wanted to be a part of an agency, so when I was 15 years old I signed up with Heartbreak/Pholk.
How did you get discovered? In August my agency contacted me and asked me to do an audition for a role in a new Disney Channel series. After a lot of video recordings I luckily got the role!
Favorite city? I really like London, Nice and Copenhagen. Right now I would love to visit New York and Phuket, as I’ve never been there before. Both places look absolutely amazing!
What’s your best memory so far- working with Pholk? That must definitely be the moment when my mother got the phone from my agency telling us that I got the role in the new Disney Channel series called THE CLUB.
Positive and negative aspects of the job? The positive aspects of the job have been to get to know my co-actors Julie and Filip and the film crew. They are all such lovely people that I get along with very well. I am so happy that I have got the opportunity to experience this phenomenal journey. The more challenging part of the job is to plan my schedule in a good way, as there are many things happening at the same time. I need to get time to my rehearsal, schoolwork, friends and family and all that in once takes up a lot of time.
Is the work you have done been what you expected it to be? Actually, everything has been way better than what I expected!
What’s is the craziest thing you have done in a shoot? We do a lot of crazy thing at the set all the time, so it is hard to choose one moment. But I especially remember the time I was asked to fake a fainting in front of the camera. The crew placed a lot of pillows at the floor so my head wouldn’t hurt as I felt down. It was so hilarious and it looked really real on camera.
Do you have any idols or people who inspires you? The first thing that pops into my head is Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I absolutely love them. They are my biggest inspiration when it comes to fashion and acting. One of my other true idols is my mom, I have always looked up to her because of what she has achieved and how she cares for the people she loves.
Your dream job? My dream job is to work with something that inspires me, such as fashion, modeling and acting.
Personal style? I would define my personal style as a combination of classy minimalistic and edgy. What I wear will always depend on what I am dressing up for and my mood of the day.
Favorite food? Asian or Indian.
Favorite music? I listen to everything, but my favorite artists must be Kanye West, Miley Cyrus and Eminem.
Favorite movies? I like to watch ‘'feel-good’’ movies with a happy ending and movies with a deeper meaning. Some of my favorites are Coyote Ugly, Hannah Montana The Movie, Mean Girls, Carlie St. Cloud and The Help.
Favorite books? I usually don’t have the time to read books, but the last book I read was ‘Kjære’ by Linnea Myhre. It was a good book, and it really captured me.
Favorite thing to do when you have some time off? My family and friends is everything to me, and I love spending time with them. Whether it is to visit an amusement park or to just be at home relaxing, we always enjoy each other’s company and can always make me feel good.
